1. Overview

FixAdSpend ("FixAdSpend", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered advertising audit and optimization platform that helps businesses reduce wasted ad spend across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and connected e-commerce stores. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This Policy applies to fixadspend.ai and the FixAdSpend web application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — when you create an account we collect your name, email address, and an encrypted (hashed) password. If you sign in through a third-party provider, we receive your name and email from that provider.
• Advertising platform data — when you connect a Meta Ads or Google Ads account, you authorize us, through the platform's official OAuth flow, to access advertising data on your behalf. This includes ad account, campaign, ad set, and ad-level information such as spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, return on ad spend, and ad creative text.
• E-commerce data — if you connect a store such as Shopify, we access order, revenue, product-cost, and customer-count metrics needed to calculate true profit and attribution.
• Authentication tokens — to maintain your connections we store OAuth access and refresh tokens. These are encrypted at rest and used only to communicate with the platforms you connected.
• Usage and device data — we automatically collect log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps to operate and secure the Service.
• Communications — if you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can support you.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and operate the Service, including audits and AI-generated recommendations.
• Analyze your advertising and store data and surface optimization opportunities.
• Execute changes you approve on connected platforms, such as pausing a campaign, when you enable that feature.
• Manage your account, process subscriptions, and provide customer support.
• Send service-related communications and, where permitted, product updates.
• Detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, and abuse.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

4. AI Processing

FixAdSpend uses artificial intelligence to analyze advertising data and generate written explanations and recommendations. Advertising metrics and ad copy from your connected Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts may be processed by our AI service provider for this purpose. Our AI subprocessor operates under contract, is bound by the same Limited Use restrictions described in Section 7, and is prohibited from using your data to train third-party or foundation models.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

• Service providers (subprocessors) — we use trusted vendors to run the Service, including cloud hosting, database hosting, AI processing, email delivery, and payment processing. They may access information only as needed to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Advertising and e-commerce platforms — we exchange data with Meta, Google, and your connected store strictly to read the data you authorized and to carry out actions you approve.
• Legal and safety — we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FixAdSpend, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — if FixAdSpend is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Meta Platform Data

Data obtained from the Meta technologies is used only to provide and improve the Service for you. We do not transfer Meta data to data brokers and do not use it for advertising unrelated to your account. Meta data is retained only as long as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect your Meta account, Meta data is hidden from your dashboard immediately and permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. Reconnecting your Meta account inside that 30-day window restores your history. If you close your FixAdSpend account, all Meta data is deleted within 30 days regardless of connection state.

7. Google User Data — Limited Use

FixAdSpend's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We request only the Google Ads scopes necessary to provide the Service, use the data solely to deliver user-facing features that are prominent in the FixAdSpend interface, do not sell it, and do not transfer it except as needed to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising, and we do not transfer Google user data to advertising networks or data brokers.

We do not allow humans at FixAdSpend to read Google user data, except (a) with your explicit affirmative consent for specific messages, (b) as necessary to comply with applicable law or resolve a security incident, or (c) when the data has been aggregated or anonymized and is used for internal operations such as measuring aggregate performance. Automated processing of Google user data by our AI subprocessor for the purposes described in Section 4 is governed by contract and the Limited Use terms above.

Google user data is retained only as long as needed to provide the Service. It is deleted from our systems when you disconnect your Google Ads account from FixAdSpend, when you close your FixAdSpend account, or upon written request to admin@fixadspend.ai. See Section 8 for our general data retention practices and Section 10 for the choices available to you.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal and platform data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect a platform we stop syncing new data from it. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

9. Data Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encryption of authentication tokens at rest, encrypted (HTTPS) connections in transit, access controls, and regular review of our practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

• Disconnect any advertising or e-commerce platform at any time from the Integrations page.
• Update your account information from the Account page.
• Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us.
• Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link.

We respond to verified requests as required by applicable law, including the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. International Data Transfers

FixAdSpend operates in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

12. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember preferences such as your theme and selected store. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect how the Service works.

13. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
